Kardinya Junior Football Club
The Kardinya Junior Football Club are a proud club with a long history.
Established in 1979 the club was originally sponsored by Tom Piper before becoming the Kardy Kats. In 2019 the club entered an agreement and aligned with the Gold Coast Suns to be their representing club in Western Australia. Rebranding as the Kardinya Suns JFC, the club has had the ongoing support from the Gold Coast Suns to include our Kardy Suns players guard of honour each season at Optus Stadium as the AFL players run on to the ground, access to open training sessions when the club is in Perth, merch support and ongoing skill development insights.
We are a good size progressive, modern family orientated junior football club with one of the lowest cost memberships in the competition. The Club has won Club of the year for the 2023, 2024 & 2025 seasons.
We offer Girls & Boys football programs with a key focus on a positive environment for everyone involved at the Club.
Our Auskick program starts from Pre-primary to Year 2 and is a combined boys & girls program on a Sunday morning at our home ground. Accredited coaches ensure a fun Sunday morning incorporating games, skill development learning and starting the process of implementing a positive behaviour environment for everyone involved.
Our year 3-6 programs continue with development for all players as they progress to playing against other clubs at home or away grounds. Our girls program starts at the year 5-6 level and our key focus continues to be on a safe, fun, supportive, positive environment for everyone involved at the club.
Our year 7-12 programs offer additional external development programs with WAFL & AFL pathways. Key focus points continue as a priority with our coaches reiterating good sportsmanship in everything we do at the club.
Our long-term relationship with Fremantle CBC Amateur Football Club at Morris Buzacott Reserve in Kardinya allows our club to develop lifetime football pathways for players to continue football outside of junior football.
